Olympic Stadium
Olympic Stadium, known locally as the Olimpiisky, is a large indoor arena located in Moscow, Russia. It was built for the 1980 Summer Olympics and hosted the basketball and boxing events. A part of the Olimpiisky Sports Complex, it makes up one architectural ensemble with another venue, constructed in the same time, the Swimming Pool. The venue is so large that up to 80,000 people can occupy it’s space. It has hosted the Davis Cup finals on several occasions. When smaller indoor sports are held at the venue, such as tennis or basketball, only 1/4th of the floor space is used. Capacity at this configuration can vary between 10,000 and 16,000 people.Citibank Ballpark
Citibank Ballpark is a stadium in Midland, Texas. It is primarily used for baseball, and is the home field of the Midland RockHounds minor league baseball team. The first game at Citbank Ballpark was played in 2002, the stadium seats 6,669 people. Citibank Ballpark was originally known as First American Bank Ballpark, but the name was changed in 2005 after Citibank acquired First American. Citibank Ballpark replaced the old Christensen Stadium, the former home of the Rockhounds. Christensen Stadium had previously been known as Cubs Stadium and Angels Stadium.
